All diamond earrings look bright and sparkling when they are worn on a woman's ear. And women love to wear diamonds. So don't be too concerned if your budget allows only a lower quality diamond. |
|
|
However, the difference in better quality diamonds becomes clear when they are viewed under a microscope. Our diamond earrings are guaranteed to be the best quality available for the price: we sell the same color, clarity and cut grades for about 25% less than the typical "sale" price in a retail jewelry store (and other internet stores). Remember, nobody is going to be viewing your diamond earrings under a microscope. But here is what you would see if you viewed them under 30-power magnification: |

This is a J color I3
clarity diamond with a "fair" cut. It looks opaque because there
is very little light reflecting through the table. This is a result of both a shallow cut and several cloudy flaws inside
the stone. Larger stones like this can look fairly dull. 1/4-carat studs like these sell for between $99 and $139 at retail jewelry stores. We sell 1/4 carat diamond studs like this for $129. |
This is a G-H color I2 clarity diamond with a
"good" cut. It has several flaws and it looks a little dark overall, but there is
plenty of light reflecting through the table, and it will show flashes of fire and
scintillation when it is moved under a light source. 1/4-carat studs like these sell for between $199 and $269 at retail jewelry stores. We sell 1/3 carat studs like this for $179. |

This is a G-H color I1 clarity diamond with a
"very good" cut. It has a flaw (near the top) that would be visible to the naked eye.
However, I1 clarity diamonds can be a very good value for the price and G-H color is
virtually indistinguishable from the highest grade (D) after the stone is mounted. 1/2-carat studs like these sell for between $629 and $799 at retail jewelry stores. We sell 1/2 carat studs like this for $599. |
This is a G-H color SI1 clarity diamond with a
"very good" cut. It has no flaws visible to the naked eye. It will display a shower of
fire, scintillation and
brightness when moved under a source of light. Nearly all of the light entering the diamond
is reflected back through the table and crown of this diamond. 1/2-carat studs like these sell for between $749 and $899 at retail jewelry stores. We sell 1/2 carat studs like this for $699. |
