IGL - GIA Comparison

We purchased a competitors pair of 3/4 carat total weight diamond earrings certified by Independent Gemological Laboratories (IGL), and had them re-certified by The Gemological Institute of America (GIA). IGL graded our competitor's diamond earrings as SI clarity and H color with an excellent cut grade, while GIA graded these same diamonds as I-2 / I-3 clarity and L color with a good to very good cut grade.
